Hi, I’m Brendon.
Writer. Photographer. Daydreamer.
My love of writing stems from a long-held desire to find a way of getting paid to daydream. It’s led to two novels: Hoodie, a gritty coming-of-age story, and A Tangled Web, a psychological thriller about obsession, love and manipulation. When I’m not wrestling with words, I’m wandering London with a camera, capturing the details and fleeting moments others walk past. For me, it’s simply another way to tell a story, without the word count.

A Tangled Web
After the raw, coming-of-age world of Hoodie, my second novel takes a sharp turn into psychological thriller territory.
A Tangled Web follows Luke, a tech-savvy loner more comfortable with code than people—until Estelle arrives. She’s everything he’s not: charismatic, ambitious, and impossible to ignore. Their connection is intoxicating, all consuming… and dangerous. But who for?
As obsession and paranoia take hold, buried secrets claw their way to the surface. Who’s in control? Who’s being played? The lines blur until neither Luke—nor the reader—knows for sure.
Camden Market
Punks, paint, and everything in between.
Vintage stalls, street art, punks with mohicans, tourists in newly-purchased Doc Martens and music spilling out of every bar. I’ve been visiting Camden market for over 40 years now and still discover new layers with each visit.
It’s chaotic, vibrant, and impossible to ignore. And always good for a wander.

Photography
I’ve grouped some of my favourites into six collections, each tracing a different piece of the city—North, South, East, West, Central, and, of course, the Underground that threads them all together. It’s London as I see it: eclectic, atmospheric, and constantly changing.

Tower Bridge
The old meets the now.
Tower Bridge is the city’s ultimate contradiction—tourists with selfie sticks, joggers who couldn’t care less, and history standing still while everything around it rushes forward.
And the Thames reflects it all, capturing London in constant motion.
Explore the collectionHoodie
Hoodie is a coming-of-age story about Ben, who’s stumbling through life after crashing out of school.
Job hunting is a nightmare, first love is complicated, and family secrets refuse to stay buried. But there’s something else—his rare simian palm lines. Could they mean he’s destined for something bigger, or is he just grasping at straws?
Blending gritty realism with a touch of the spiritual, Hoodie explores youth, identity, and the search for meaning in modern London—through Ben’s raw, restless, and deeply human voice.
